America has long led the world in space exploration and benefitted from the technological development that came from that. In the face of growing competition from adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party, America must continue to make strategic investments in space to hone our leadership in exploration, protect our national security and economy, and spur a future of crewed missions to the Moon and Mars.
